Maitreya's child form is one of Black Myth's smartest visual choices

A large golden Buddha would be instantly legible but predictable. The child-monk form creates uncertainty: playful, calm and clearly more informed than the Destined One, yet easy to underestimate. Prayer beads and scale do more character work than exposition. It also connects the Yellowbrow arc to Buddhist imagery without turning the scene into a museum label. Did the design make you curious enough to research Maitreya, or did you initially read him as an original game character?
